Pivot Coaches

Each of the Pivot Coaches was hand-picked for their balance of left-brain logic mixed with right-brain creativity. Everyone on the team has extensive business background combined with an equally big heart and health and wellness focus. No matter who you choose to work with, you're getting deep coaching expertise with an emphasis on strategic action.

Our coaching engagements are set-up on a monthly retainer basis; good-until-cancelled (with no minimum or maximum duration). Together with your coach, you will choose a recurring day and time for your calls to reduce friction for scheduling (though you can always adjust on a one-off basis as needed), and you will be invoiced once per month. You are free to cancel at any time; we just ask that you let your coach know during the first session of a given month, so that your final call can be dedicated to reflection and setting you up for success moving forward.

Jenna valovic

Brooklyn, New York // Eastern Time

I consider myself a possibilitarian - I am happiest when helping clients explore the full breadth of what is possible and encouraging them to build a life that is in alignment with their boldest, most audacious dreams. After nearly a decade working at Google, and over five years focused specifically around Executive Recruitment, I've learned how important it is to build a career that is in integrity with your values. My areas of focus include: late bloomers and career performance and burnout coaching. My background is a left brain/right brain hybrid; I enjoy marrying my background in Leadership and Organizational Development and Positive Psychology with my somatic training as a vinyasa yoga teacher, breathwork facilitator and meditator. Jim Taigman

Bloomfield Hills, MI, USA // Eastern Time

I have seen enough success and failure of individuals managing up, down, and through their co-workers to know that great leaders succeed by knowing their own strengths and blind spots. Improving this self-awareness is a vital component in pivoting to something new. Through powerful questioning, and observations of not only what you say, but the emotion and body language behind what you say, we will work to break through those barriers getting in your way. Let’s go! More about Jim »

There are many reasons why a person might feel stuck at work. Maybe it's the infamous golden handcuffs, maybe your job has become a habit that is no longer challenging, or maybe something just feels off? Maybe you’re not growing and don’t have the chance to try new roles, be creative, or show your innovation? Do you work so much that you’ve forgotten to enjoy life? Can you afford to leave? Ultimately, what is all this work for?

Do these questions feel familiar? They are to me because I’ve been there too. I know the fear of the unknown and taking the next step. I can help.

Inside you, you have inherent brilliance and direction. Together, we will uncover your unique strengths, talents, values, and break through the barriers holding you back. Together, we will create the clarity you crave and the confidence you need to take the next step in your life. More about Cherie »

Tony MCGAHARAN

Belfast, Ireland // Greenwich Mean time

Helping people learn and grow is my passion. My entire career has been centred around educating others. In 2020 I started my own learning and development consultancy business (peopleplaybook.co) and have been working with a wide variety of clients, from the NHS to Ubisoft. Each client comes to me with their unique needs and challenges and I enjoy adapting my skills and approach to each company to bring out the best from their team and people. I have benefitted from great coaches in the past and I strongly believe in the value of paying it forward. Carving out time for coaching and helping others in a 1:1 setting provides the opportunity for individualised support. More about Tony »

REBECCA FRASER-THILL

Portland, ME, USA // Eastern Time

You're a young professional out in the world, and you've been going through the motions, thinking you're doing everything you "should"…but something still feels off. I've spent over a decade helping achievement-minded individuals harness their strengths, interests, values and personalities to create next steps that aren't about checking the boxes (you're already way too good at that...) but rather about being their fullest selves. Steve Trainor

Bentonville, AR, USA // Central Time

I am passionate about helping leaders and organizations transform and achieve their highest goals and dreams. My background as a career military officer, university professor, and executive development professional provides me with a diverse perspective on growth, performance and leadership and real compassion for the lived experiences of people. In my most recent role as an internal coach, facilitator and mentor to Google senior leaders, I gained new insights on the challenges of growing, adapting and surviving in a complex and ever-changing world.

As I reflect on all of those experiences, I realize that I am rewarded most by 1:1 and small group interactions where relationships are built, the beauty of nature is shared and the paradox of being more deeply human is discovered. I think you'll find that what I love to do and what I'm really good will help you achieve your career goals and aspirations. More about Steve »
