This week on the Pivot Podcast I share more about life (and mini existential crisis moments!) two months in to the puppy-training trenches, along with a round-up of Ryder's Favorite Things (the best books, toys, treats, and tools we've discovered).
Dog-lovers/owners: any must-haves that we're missing?
I also wanted to let you know about a whole slew of upcoming free Pivot and Momentum virtual workshops in March!
I do about 30-40 keynote speaking engagements per year for companies, but I'm not as good at taking the initiative to host my own free in-person or online events (trying to fill seats is a business Achilles heel of mine for paid events). To that end, one of my 2020 intentions is to do more open events on Zoom that you can all attend — check out the list below and sign-up for whatever sounds interesting!

Here's this week's favorite finds 'round the web:
Featured: I'm honored to be in Outside Magazine's round-up of Everything Our Editors Loved in January!
Reading & Listening: Tim Ferriss' powerful, scary, and sobering reflection on 11 Reasons Not to Be Famous and his fantastic podcast interview with Brené Brown on Striving versus Self-Acceptance, Saving Marriages, and More
Tool: From Momentum Member Leanne Hughes, host of the First Time Facilitator podcast: "I've signed up for Bonjoro and am LOVING it. You can send super quick, videos to thank your colleagues. It takes no time at all. I have cranked out 20 'thank you' videos in the last 30 mins. Simply recorded from my phone, tapped in their email address, thanked them for something specific...then recorded the next one."
I can confirm — receiving Leanne's video note was delightful! But that's partly because she's such a radiant, high-energy person :) Check out our interview together on How to Pivot into Public Speaking »
That's it for now . . . THANK YOU for reading and listening, for your support, and for being part of this adventure with me. I am grateful for you every day, and I'm excited to see what 2020 brings!
